Local outreach efforts are a part of who we are. WOC Cares cares for the community.
Throughout the year, WOC Cares partners with local organizations in our community for a common purpose to accomplish kingdom goals and see those in need transformed by the hope that is Jesus. New opportunities are available frequently, and we are always looking for new ways to make an impact.

Beheard Movement’s mission is to break the barriers surrounding homelessness, and they do this by meeting people right where they are. BeHeard Movement offers weekly outreaches to help restore dignity to the homeless community. They do this by using their mobile drop in center; they provide showers through our shower trailer, laundry services through their laundry trailer, haircuts through their mobile barbershop bus, clothing through their mobile clothing trailer and much more!

Rivers Edge Recovery is a Christ centered recovery program that is interested in seeing the power of Jesus Christ radically transform a persons life who is struggling with addictions. RER meets every Tuesday at 7:15pm-8:45pm at WOC in the youth building to talk about addictions and how we can walk free from them. If you or a loved one is struggling with addictions and in need of support, RER is here for you and welcomes all to join them.

Loaves & Fishes mission is to feed the spirit, soul, and body of those in need. Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday, Loaves & Fishes opens its doors, welcoming a line of people waiting outside. Friendly volunteers register the guests, and then, a free meal is served from their ministry kitchen. After eating, guests move to a comfortable seating area where they are welcomed and offered a short Bible study, an invitation to receive Jesus, and prayer with anyone who desires it. As proud partners, we are connected through a shared technology platform to coordinate care and address people’s social needs. Through this Unite Us-powered network, we will refer and connect those in need of assistance to the services they need.
